Don’t Blame Me If I’m Fat!

In a culture of blame-shifting we often look for someone to blame for our predicament. Being overweight is no different – who is to blame for obesity?

“It’s the fast food outlets – supplying us with fatty foods”

“Our thin-obsessed society is putting all sorts of pressure on even slightly overweight folks”

“The weight loss industry is to blame – after all if everyone was slim – they would go out of business”

Some will simply blame the overweight person – making generalizations and attaching unhelpful labels to the person. “After all” they say, “it’s up to us to manage what we eat and how much we exercise”.

There is truth in this, but it is too simplistic. Many overweight people have tried desperately to eat ‘properly’ to manage their weight – Garcinia Slim Xtra yet continue to struggle for years. There are a number of outside forces here that have more of an influence than we realise.

So Who Is To Blame?

The weight loss industry is large, with millions being spent every year by people looking for answers. Like any industry, it has it’s share of charlatans and snake-oil salesmen. Many manufacturers of diet pills and weight loss supplements are certainly opportunists – rather than looking to treat the source (i.e. by eating right), they are trying to treat the symptoms. However we have found that most decent commercial weight loss programs have a genuine interest in helping people manage their weight. So it’s unfair to cast blame on the entire ‘industry’.

If we were to start looking for culprits, we might want to cast our eye at the food processing industry – that, coupled with savvy marketing experts, has snared us into eating so many kinds of processed foods that going to the supermarket is like walking through a nutritional minefield.

Get Them While Their Young

The Center For Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) recently conducted a study of the magazine “National Geographic for Kids”. In 17 recent issues they found 51 ads for junk-foods – including a depiction of one meal that contained 590 calories (remember this is a magazine for children).

Many years ago a certain famous fast food outlet began calling its meals for children “Happy Meals” – creating an emotional response and attachment to certain foods – typically nutritionally poor foods.

Chemical Food and Clever Marketing

It’s not the weight loss industry that’s to blame – but the clever marketing tactics from the food processing giants that are misleading us. To make things worse – some popular weight loss diets have unfortunately associated themselves with snack food corporations, and severely reduced their credibility.

Is a low-carb / low-fat (take your pick) snack bar really that good for you? Take a look at the ingredients list – can you decipher all those numbers? Do you understand what a ‘partially hydrogenated oil” is?

What about those great ‘health’ bars for the kids – they even have the healthy tick on them (indicating they are recommended by the American Heart Association). On closer inspection those ‘healthy snacks’ are nothing but lots of refined sugar, some white flour, trans fats, and a host of other chemicals. But hey – they’re low in fat so they must be good? Right?

Finding the Right Food

It’s a nightmare. What exactly is good for you? Who do you believe? Next time you see those bright colors, and eye-catching ads – do your own inspection of the ingredients list – you might be surprised.

Recently we bought some cranberry juice for our young daughter who had a slight urine infection – knowing that cranberry has some useful medicinal properties. Like any frazzled parent, having time to stand and stare at the nutrition panel while shopping with children is a rarity. That night our daughter had trouble getting to sleep, and woke up 3 or 4 times in the night. This is unusual for her.

On closer inspection of the so-called cranberry juice – we discovered that only 30% is actually cranberry, and the rest is water and ‘high fructose corn syrup’ – a chemically altered sugar with a fair share of (anecdotally) noted poor health affects.

What Is The Answer?

If obesity had a simple cause, don’t you think we would have the answer by now? Good diet and exercise are the answer – but when we have large corporations spending millions to make us buy their food – it doesn’t seem so simple anymore. Go figure – profit in the food industry is made by either people buying more food, or sourcing/manufacturing basic ingredients at less cost. How does good nutrition factor in this? Are you starting to get the picture?

There is no miracle weight loss cure – no diet plan that will fit everyone. The only long term answer is understanding how your own body reacts to the foods you eat. Weight loss is not a 6 week program, but a lifelong commitment to good nutrition and lifestyle.

Weight Loss & Health Tips Revealed: Can I Be Fit And Fat?

We all have an image of “fit” – lean, even thin, with a healthy glow. Many researchers are now beginning to question that picture of fitness – there may be more to being “fit” and less to being “fat” than conventional wisdom suggests.

What Are The Dangers Of Extra Weight

Carrying extra weight can put stress on your body. People who are overweight – that is, who weigh more for their height than is considered healthy – may be at increased risk of high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and strokes, and may put additional pressure on their joints.

So Thin People Are In Danger Too?

However, as recent debates among scientists show, the “fit = thin” equation may hide a more complex situation. Often, when an overweight person begins to exercise and eat healthier foods, measures of their health improve. Golden Farms Forskolin It might be that blood pressure and cholesterol improve because of weight loss that comes with exercise. But, researchers like Steven Blair argue, it may be that the exercise itself makes us healthier. As we exercise and eat better, our metabolism – the use of food to build and repair the body and make energy – changes, and that’s what makes us healthy. The weight loss is a sort of “side effect” of the changes we’ve made in lifestyle.

Focus On Your Body’s Functions, Not Appearance:

Glenn Glaesser, author of Big Fat Lies: The Truth About Your Weight and Your Health, endorses the idea of metabolic fitness. He suggests that we not focus on height-to-weight ratios (like the body-mass index or BMI) but on other measures of how your body is functioning, like cholesterol level, blood pressure, blood sugar and waist-to-hip ratio. His research suggests that it’s possible to be fit and not have the slender figure we see in so many fashion magazines and movies. Conversely, if you are slender and sedentary, you may have health risks, regardless of your physique.

But don’t replace one equation with another simplistic one: fat = fine. A balance seems to be the thing that all the experts agree on.

Balance Is Important:

If you fit the standard body-mass index definition of obese, how do you achieve the balance? Start out by finding out more about your health. Check your fat-to-muscle ratio. See if you’re carrying a healthy amount of fat on your body relative to muscle (your local Y may be able to estimate your body fat for you at low cost). Ask your healthcare provider check your blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, and heart function. Your nurse practitioner or doctor can help you think about small changes in diet and exercise that can help you get more fit, show you what parts of your metabolic health are doing well, what could use work. And lastly, check your own functioning: are there things you’d like to do that you haven’t been able to? Are you getting tired on the dance floor more often than you’d like?

Take Improvement Step-By-Step:

Then, start slowly incorporating changes into your life – you may need to change how much you eat, what you eat, how much you exercise, or some combination, to achieve better health. Check back regularly with your health care worker, who can help you monitor progress. You may lose some weight in the process. You might not, initially, but do yourself a favor and take your measurements as well. The weight may not change, but you may find yourself becoming slimmer simply because muscle weighs a lot but doesn’t take up as much room as fat does!

As your health and metabolic status improves, you may find that you aren’t at the “perfect” weight. The jury is still out on whether losing extra weight to reach the “ideal” is necessary for the best health. However, don’t be discouraged and quit your newly healthy lifestyle: the new research does tell us that fitness, whatever your weight, brings you health benefits that will stand you in good stead – and help you enjoy your fun activities today.

From Now On, Europe Focuses On Dieting Pills

A state of emergency has been recently put on European Union agenda. In the next ten years, European countries will be “on diet”. The EU countries have to manage an alarming situation: high rate of obesity and overweight. It seems that all America’s weight-loss problems along with diets and any kind of dieting pills crossed the Ocean.

European countries borrowed bad habits from Americans

Along with foods, Americans have brought the whole picture to the “Old continent”: fad diets and related-weigh loss problems, dieting pills and dietary supplements. According to International Obesity Task Force, the prevalence Advanced Turmeric of obesity has grown by up by 10 to 40 percent in most European countries from 1993 to 2003. It is an alarming statement. 30% of people living in the European Union are overweight and more than one in ten is now obese, according to EASO.

Not surprisingly, a war against obesity has started recently. European officials are worried specifically about childhood obesity since children with “weight problems” are three to five times more likely to suffer a heart attack or even stroke before the age of 65. Although this problem is not as urgent as the American issue, the forecasts are ruthless.

The battle against obesity

When overweight and obesity are on the agenda,

  • fast food and modern unhealthy eating habits (too many sweets and refined foods)
  • a sedentary lifestyle

are often quoted. Officials of the European Union are worried because obesity brings along related problems such as diabetes, stroke and heart disease. Unfortunately,70.000 cases are added each year, while heart disorders are already the leading cause of death in the European Union: half of all deaths are caused by heart disease.

Since the issue became so urgent, the EU was prompted to apply a “fight-plan” against obesity for the next ten years. Experts have decided in the recent European Congress of Obesity that the new fight-front should proceed on four major ways:

  1. governments
  2. NGOs
  3. food industry
  4. consumers themselves.

Additionally, two pathways can be involved in this effort:

  • television
  • computer industry.

They are to induce and educate nationwide a well-balanced eating regimen and promote physical activity and regular exercise (schools included). A direct and sharp link to the new way of eating (fast food, biscuits, high carbohydrate foods, fatty products) hasn’t been established precisely. It is argued though that giving up old healthy habits proved a significant overweight factor. Thus, obesity has been declared “public enemy number one” in the European Union.

Portugal case study

Anorectic teenagers and obese middle-aged people – this is happening nowadays only in Portugal. It is a strange situation, the least to say. Nearly two-fifths of all Portuguese of 18 to 65 are overweight and no less than 15 percent are already obese while over 8% of all 18 and 19 year olds are extremely thin (twice than in the same age group in 1995). These facts were released in September 2004, after a study had been carried out and cited by Agency France-Presse.

What do these two statistics disclose?

  1. on one hand, the health of people of 18 to 65 (active Portugaese) is highly threatened by heart disease, stroke and diabetes
  2. on the other hand, many teens of Portugal suffer from eating disorders (it is argued that they have a repulsive reaction to obesity and they are obsessed with their look).

As the Portuguese have changed their eating habits lately, adding more sweets and fatty foods into their meals, the obesity range highly increased. A review of their eating habits reveals that many people go to work with no breakfast. Around ten o’clock in the morning there is the “coffee break”, which is usually taken with a lot of sweet cakes, rolls, croissants. Lunch is regularly around one o’clock and means meat (codfish, veal, pork, chicken, rabbit) and potatoes (raw vegetables are rarely eaten). Another coffee break is around five o’clock. Dinner is at eight and consists of meat primarily. The Portuguese eat soup often but after a meal, not before. The famous caldo verde soup is preferred, in spite of the fact that it contains a potentially lethal piece of cholesterol rich sausage.

Besides, Portugal is invaded by fast food, especially hamburger outlets like McDonalds. Not only large cities, but also small towns have a McDonalds. Not to mention the other fast-food outlets, which make things worse for the Portuguese.

Phthalates Reduce Male Hormones; Pesticides Cause Infertility

A recent study shows that phthalates present in pregnant women result in their boy babies having smaller less developed genitals. There is further concern that as the boys grow up, they may be affected with late puberty, lower testosterone levels and sperm count, and be more susceptible to testicular cancer.

Phthalates are solvents, coatings, perfume fixatives, and plasticizers (added to PVC plastic in order to make it more flexible). Phthalates are found in plastic bottles, food containers, and they are found extensively in children’s toys.

Phthalates are also found in hundreds of other products, such as hair spray, coatings on time-released medicines, soap, shampoo, nail polish, hair sprays, detergents, and vinyl floor coverings, as well as pesticides.

Most testing up to now has been done on Nitridex animals, and phthalates have been shown to be carcinogenic and to cause fetal deformity and death, as well as reproductive toxicity (in women, toxemia is a condition of pregnancy where the presence of the baby is actually poisonous to the mother). The recent study is alarming because it reflects the results of the animal testing, but in most cases the levels of the phthalates in the baby boys and their mothers was at a lower percentage than in the comparable lab mice, yet the results were as dramatic.

Lawmakers in California and New York are already looking into banning the phthalates indicated in the studies. Meanwhile, the best advice from one of the authors of the study, Christine Ternand, a professor of pediatric endocrinology at the University of Minnesota, was for pregnant women to avoid phthalates as much as possible — a feat that the doctor admitted would not be a simple one, considering that phthalates are also in the air and soil.

Another study shows that chemicals found in common pesticides mimic female hormones when ingested and consequently reduce male sperm count. Since the end of World War II, scientists have been studying the effects of chemical pesticides on both human and animal populations, and their findings are disturbing.

Southern California sea gulls are losing their interest in breeding. Male sea gulls are apathetic, and female sea gulls try to nest together. The more pollutants in their bodies, the more they tend to exhibit this unusual behavior.

In Central Florida, male alligators hatching in Lake Apopka have penises only one quarter the normal size, and their low testosterone levels almost guarantee sterility. The pesticide at the root of the alligators’ problem is dicofol, which is legally used on the strawberries and raisins that we eat.

The Missouri and Mississippi rivers are full of PCB and DDT which have caused a species of sturgeon to become completely asexual. The fishes’ gonads are neither male nor female, and haven’t been for well over fifteen years.

Certainly, if the environment of America’s wildlife is full of pesticides, American’s men and women are not escaping the same ill effects. In fact, studies over the last 30 years have shown strong connections between men’s and women’s reproductive health issues and environmental toxins. Breast cancer rates are greater in women with higher amounts of pesticides in their systems; the pesticides are actually concentrated within the malignant tissues (when compared to healthier nearby tissues).

The number of boys with undescended testicles nearly doubled between the 1940’s and 1970’s in Britain, and in Denmark during that same time period, testicular cancer rose nearly four times higher. More recently, a multitude of studies on semen quality showed that average sperm count had dropped by more than 50%, and the decrease had nothing to do with age. The common factor cited by researchers was environmental pesticides.

What the chemicals in the pesticides do is to mimic estrogen inside of the body. High levels of estrogen in women is linked to breast cancer, and in men it is linked to distortion of male characteristics, i.e. feminization and infertility. In both cases, the chemicals in pesticides are deadly.

There are a number of steps that you can take against this slow poison. Probably the most important is being educated, and petitioning legislators to cut back and/or eliminate chemicals in farming.

  • BUY ORGANIC. Research has shown that men who eat food grown without the use of pesticides have as much as twice the sperm count of their pesticide-consuming counterparts.
  • EAT FIBER. One of the reasons that a high fiber diet aids in the prevention of colon cancer is because the fiber itself absorbs toxins and carries them out of the body at a faster rate. Also, because fiber absorbs cholesterol and thus reduces the levels in the body, it prevents absorption of much of the estrogenic chemicals because cholesterol is required for the production of hormones.
  • EAT CRUCIFEROUS VEGETABLES such as broccoli, cabbage, mustard greens, turnips, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts. These foods also reduce the metabolism of estrogen.
  • EAT PHYTOESTROGENS. This is a plant form of estrogenic substance, and it is found in all soy products, including tofu, tempeh, soy milk, and edemame (the green soybeans often found in the frozen food section). Plant estrogens displace the toxic estrogen. A study in Japan showed that those who eat high levels of soy have the lowest risk of breast cancer.
  • EAT VEGETARIAN. Heavy meat eaters tend to have more incidences of reproductive organ cancers.
  • ELIMINATE PLASTIC FOOD PACKAGING. Instead, wrap foods with unbleached paper, and store in glass containers. If plastic bags are unavoidable, protect the food with unbleached paper towels inside the bag, against the food.
  • SUPPLEMENT WITH ANTIOXIDANTS. Studies show that antioxidants protect sperm from environmental toxins.

Nutritional supplements are not intended to be a substitute for proper diet, but the right ones taken in the right doses will make a huge difference in a person’s state of health.

Brief History of CBD and Hemp Oil

Cannabidiol (CBD) has been enjoying increasing amounts of attention as people learn more about its incredible possibilities as a supplement. With so many articles and research studies being written about CBD, you might think that this consumable is a recent discovery. It is true that many of the CBD extraction and packaging methods use cutting-edge technologies but the use of CBD in its hemp oil form goes back farther than most people realize.

In the 2010’s the public began to see what a profound effect CBD oil could have treating a variety of life threatening aliments, especially in children. A prime example of this is a young family from Missoula Montana, using CBD oil to treat their 20 month old son, Cash Hyde, who had been diagnosed with brain cancer in 2010. Hyde’s condition was worsening and his tumor inoperable. After exhausting every treatment option, including 30 rounds of intensive radiation, Ketamine, Methadone and Morphine treatments, the Hyde family had hit their limit. Nothing had worked. In an effort to give his small child some relief, his father did what was thought to be “crazy”at the time, and gave him a highly concentrated cannabis extract, not knowing what else to do. After the first treatment, Hyde’s State IV HIghTech CBD Gummies brain tumor had shrunk. Although it was considered unorthodox, Mike Hyde was applauded by medical professionals and even spoke with the press in hopes of shedding the light on how CBD oil is literally a lifesaver. Cash Hyde lived for another two and a half years, passing away after the State of Montana made a change in legislation that impaired the family from easily accessing the cannabis oil their son needed.

Perhaps the most prolific case of CBD oil and it’s success is the 2013 story that achieved national press. Charolette Figi is a 3 year old Colorado girl who suffered 300 grand mal seizures every week. Like the Hyde family, her parents thought they had tried everything, including a heavy regime of pharmaceutical drugs and painful procedures that still did not ease her condition. Her parents had watched a documentary of one of the first medical marijuana dispensaries in California centered around testing their strains of CBD and other cannaboid content. The California center testing was one of the first public assertions that cannabis was safe to ingest and use for a variety of medical purposes. CBD rich oil was able to treat 99% of the young girls seizures, and CNN aired a 2013 special on marijuana and it medicinal effects.

These are just a few specific instances that show how effective CBD oil can be, laying the groundwork for CBD oil being recognized as a justifiable medicine for a variety of ailments. As a result, many states are passing HIghTech CBD   legislation rapidly allowing CBD oil to be used in numerous clinical studies as treatment plans. Research continues to back up it legitimacy and programs are being funded globally to continue the studies.

CBD Hemp Oil Health Benefits: What Is CBD Hemp Oil?

“Take Control of Your Health Naturally”

What is CBD Hemp Oil?

CBD, also called Cannabidiol, is just one of 85 different chemical compounds in marijuana plants. CBD Hemp Oil is derived from hemp, or cannabis grown with very little THC (often less than 0.3%). For the sake of this article we will refer to marijuana as cannabis grown for its psychoactive effects, and hemp as cannabis grown for its practical uses as a fiber. Marijuana is marketed for its THC content and hemp is utilized for its CBD content.

THC is the psychoactive or intoxicating compound found in cannabis plants whereas, CBD oil is not psychoactive or intoxicating and has shown strong signs of being an effective treatment for a variety of diseases and HIghTech CBD health disorders.

Where Can I Get CBD Hemp Oil?

Hemp oil is legal in all 50 states but the production of CBD Hemp Oil is not. Even though both come from marijuana, hemp oil is derived from sterile cannabis seeds, which are legal under the Controlled Substances Act. CBD Oil is derived from the plant’s flowers which are not legal in some states. However, this doesn’t stop the import of CBD oil made from industrialized hemp grown legally, which is why you’re able to buy it legally on the internet.

You can find products containing hemp oil in the beauty section of your local retail store, but to get CBD Oil you’ll either need to be in a state where it’s legal to produce or purchase an import.

CBD Hemp Oil Health Benefits

CBD Oil has been shown to have surprisingly positive effects on a variety of diseases. Some of the Cannabidiol health benefits are:

  1. Nausea treatment
  2. Lowered anxiety
  3. Pain relief
  4. Improved mood
  5. Lessening withdrawal symptoms
  6. Seizure reduction
  7. Stimulating appetite

CBD works by activating the body’s serotonin (anti-depressant effect), vanilloid (pain relief), and adenosine (anti-inflammatory effect) receptors. How quickly you start to feel the results from CBD Oil depends on how it was ingested and your weight. Someone small who ingested the oil in spray form will feel the effects much faster than a larger person ingesting CBD in capsule form.Different Forms of CBD Hemp Oil

CBD Hemp Oil can take on many different forms, including liquids, ointments, and sprays, and capsules. Most oils and sprays are used by putting the substance under your tongue. Ointments are used on and absorbed by the skin, and thirdly capsules are ingested. Those who don’t like the taste of sprays or oils can defer to capsules. Capsules are a very convenient way to consume Cannabidiol, however you don’t absorb as much CBD from a capsule as you do from an oil or spray put under your tongue.

CBD vape oil is the same as regular CBD Hemp Oil – it’s just taken into the body in a different way. You just fill your vape pen with Cannabidiol and presto, you’ve got yourself a vape with health benefits.

CBD Oil sold online are not as potent as those medically prescribed for serious diseases but they can help with mood disorders, lower anxiety, and lessen pain caused by inflammation.

CBD Hemp Oil Side Effects
While not much research has been done yet on the side effects of CBD Oil, whether absorbed, swallowed as a capsule or inhaled through a CBD vape pen, the most commonly side effects reported are digestive issues, such as upset stomach and diarrhea, which are not very common.

Will CBD Hemp oil Show On a Drug Test?

Drug tests are looking for THC, not CBD, and because CBD doesn’t produce any kind of high, employers really have no reason to look for it in the first place. So CBD Oil does not show up on a drug test. However, for this reason, make sure you purchase pure CBD oil with 0% THC.

Unique Benefits of Using Pure CBD Oil

No prescription required: Even though they are more potent than regular CBD Oils, most pure CBD Oils do not require a prescription.

0% THC: If you’re worried about using a cannabis extract because you don’t want to experience marijuana’s psychoactive effects or fail a drug test, opt for pure CBD Oil. Containing no THC at all, it’s the safest choice.

Fewer side effects: Pure CBD Oils are less likely to cause nausea and fatigue.

Purchase Cautions How do you know if you are getting quality CBD Hemp Oil?

  • Your first clue is usually price. If the price seems too cheap to be true, it probably is.
  • Always purchase from a reputable source. A company that is reputable will back their product and will not risk selling misrepresented items.
  • Another thing to look for is the way that the product is marketed. If you see CBD Hemp Oil online that claims to cure every ailment under the sun, it’s also probably too good to be true.
  • The top products are made from organically grown hemp and have a CBD concentration over 20mg.
  • While the medicinal effects of Cannabidiol are great, keep your expectations of online brands realistic.

Maintaining a Healthy Penis

Keeping your penis healthy gets you far greater erection strength and stamina, as well as general sexual satisfaction. Simply put, a healthy penis provides you with a healthy sex life!

As men grow older, the levels of male hormone, testosterone, gradually decline starting at the age of 30 and continue to do so at a staggering rate of 10 percent per decade.

Since testosterone is a hormone that helps maintain sex drive, sperm production, pubic and body hair, muscle, and bone, the consequences slowly show as a man ages.

Most men who will basically experience one or all of these in varying degrees:

Hair loss

Bone loss

Sweating and flushing

Irritability

Fatigue

Nitridex

Loss of physical agility

Increased fat

Aches and pains

Sleeping problems

Depression

Decreased sexual drive and performance

Therefore, maintaining a healthy and vigorous penis is maybe one of the more important things all guys should be mindful of. Do your penis a favor by considering the following suggestions:

Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet. To ensure normal erectile function, you need to keep the continuous flow of blood to the penis by taking care of the arteries that supply it. Consume a high fiber diet, low in saturated fats and you can be sure to prevent or reduce the build up of fatty deposits that narrow and clog arteries. Stay away from animal fats, sugar, fried or junk foods.

Quit smoking. Smoking constricts blood vessels and leads to a build of plaque in the arteries that supply blood to the penis. This results in diminished erectile function, shrinkage of the penis, and impotence later in life.

Avoid liquor and dangerous drugs. Alcohol and narcotics puts you in great risk of impotence or erectile dysfunction.

Exercise. Exercising is good for your overall health. Try brisk walking, running, cycling, or swimming for at least 30 minutes a day, three times a week.

Take nutritional supplements. Certain vitamins and minerals are good for maintaining general penile health, such as Vitamin A, Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Chromium, Zinc, and L-arginine. While certain herbs such as Ginkgo biloba, Ginseng, Damania, Sarsaparilla, Wild yam, Saw palmetto, Dong quai, Gotu kola, Hydrangea root, and Pygeum, are known to be particularly helpful for weak erections or impotence. Be sure to consult with your doctor first.

Stimulate your penis. Maintain healthy penis and prostate circulation by having regular erections and ejaculations. Natural penis exercises not only ensure good circulation but can also aid in penis enlargement, both in length and girth. This works best when coupled with the use of an enlargement device, penis enlargement pills, and semen volumizers. Such is the complete and break-through program offered by SizeGenetics.

Have a vigorous and healthy sex life for life. Start by making the necessary changes now.

Winning at Post-Partum Weight Loss – Six Simple Strategies For New Moms

A healthy pregnancy almost always involves weight gain. But now that baby’s here, you’re probably wishing those extra pounds would hurry up and disappear! While it won’t happen overnight, these six simple tips can help you lose that extra weight in a healthy way.

5) Get moderate exercise on a regular basis. Of course, you should get the go ahead from your doctor first, and you will likely need to wait longer if you’ve had a caesarean birth, but most new moms can begin a gentle fitness program very soon after their baby is born.

Exercise is definitely one of those things that most of us feel obligated to do and few of us seem to enjoy. In fact, for many moms, having a new baby seems to be a great excuse not to exercise. After all, you’re legitimately busy, sleep-deprived, and probably a bit nervous about leaving your precious bundle with someone else while you head to the gym. But wait! Who ever said you had to pump iron, punch a bag or jump around in a fitness class for an hour to get your exercise?

The whole key to sticking with a fitness program is to choose an activity you enjoy. If you enjoy hiking outdoors, why not invest in a baby carrier so you and your baby can do this together? There are all kinds of baby trailers on Garcinia Slim Xtra the market now so your baby can join you on a bike ride or even a cross country ski outing if these are activities you enjoy. If swimming is fun for you, why not offer to take a friend’s teenager to the pool. She can sit close by with your baby on the pool deck while you do a few lengths, and then you and your baby can enjoy a leisurely lunch or cup of tea while the teen gets a chance to play in the pool in return for helping you out. Yoga classes for moms and babies are also popular now, and this can be a very enjoyable and relaxing way to spend time with your baby while you exercise.

For the new mom who wasn’t active before pregnancy, gentle forms of exercise such as taking a stroll are ideal. If you can find another new mom close by to share this time with, your walks will become a pleasant activity that you look forward to, instead of part of your dreaded post-natal fitness program. If your health unit or community nursing program offers a drop in program for new moms you will be able to connect with other moms there. Or perhaps you’ve stayed in touch with a mom you met in your pre-natal classes. As you start to feel more energetic you can increase the length and the intensity of your walks. Ans if the weather is bad you can always walk around the mall and enjoy the sights.

Gentle dancing or rocking while holding your baby is also excellent exercise that both of you can enjoy. When your baby is fussy or tired and nursing her doesn’t seem to be helping, why not put on some music and introduce her to your favourite dance steps? She won’t mind if you don’t get the steps right, she’ll just enjoy being close to you while you move, and you’ll get the fitness benefits. Most babies will enjoy dancing with you even when they’re not tired and cranky. As she gets older your dance dates will probably be greeted with giggles and squeals of delight.

Remember though that moderation in your exercise program is the key. Even if you bounce back quickly from your baby’s birth and are feeling very energetic, be sure to start slowly and increase your exercise level gradually. Too much too soon can set you back by causing you to feel exhausted later on in the day. This can lead to grouchiness or a bout of the baby blues, neither of which will motivate you to continue exercising! Remember the old adage, “always leave ’em wanting more.” This should be your fitness mantra in the first few postpartum months. In other words, stop before you’ve had enough and you’ll be more likely to continue with your fitness program the next day.

6) Wear your baby often. Using a sling or carrier to keep baby close during the day will make your baby happier, plus it will give you a little extra weight to pack around as you do your daily chores and activities. It may not seem like much, but as your baby grows you’ll be increasing the amount of weight you’re carrying while you go about your daily routines. And that adds up to extra weight loss for you.

Instead of using a stroller when you take a walk, put baby in the carrier. Instead of putting her in a swing or rocking seat, rock her to sleep in your arms or in your baby carrier while you stand and gently bounce to and fro. When you go to the grocery store, carry her in a sling instead of putting her in the shopping cart. In fact, if you’re lucky enough to live within walking distance of your grocery store, you can even make this a daily outing to pick up a few items each time. Your baby will enjoy the extra closeness of being in a sling or carrier as you do laundry, tend the garden, or even take some time out for a hobby like bird watching. Seven Reasons to Choose Hoodia Part 5

Good health is an invaluable bliss and you cannot simply count on its benefits. Similarly, a drug that solves a typical health problem is exactly an elixir for its sufferers. Today’s medicinal world is pestered with a number of high benefits claiming drugs that boast a lot about obesity reduction but do practically nothing to cure the disease. They are no more than a burden on the pocket. What if at this time, a medicine with effective remedial measures for checking and reducing obesity is discovered?

Obviously, it is a time to rejoice and thank the ancient tribe of South Africa that used Hoodia the miraculous drug and thus unfurled its mysterious quality. It is astonishing to note that thousands of years back practice, is relevant until today. The means has changed but the basic element remains the same. With the rediscovery of Hoodia Gordonii, there has come a halt to the innumerable synthetic weight-reducing medicines. The extract of the plant Hoodia, is emerging as the greatest weight-reducing drug with no known side effects. There are seven notable reasons why Hoodia is becoming an ideal alternative for treating obesity.

It is a natural ingredient in comparison to its contemporary alternatives, which are synthetic. The synthetic drugs are usually made from complex Golden Farms Forskolin chemical reactions that may generate harmful effects apart from the primary benefit. On the other hand, Hoodia drugs are just a concentrate of the extract collected from the mother plant. This is the first reason why Hoodia scores over other drugs.

It is effective in reducing weight notably. It works on the appetite of an individual and minimizes it. Now, when normal food intake falls down, the body starts to burn the stored food to release adequate energy. Extra food is stored in the subcutaneous layer as fat that gives the extra weight one carries. When Hoodia extract is consumed, the appetite vanishes and the brain gets the feeling that it has taken food. The body thus has to burn out the extra fat to procure the energy needed for its various works. Thus, one gets away with the extra fat.

Obesity is also caused by excessive and unbalanced eating habit. When one takes Hoodia, the urge to eat dies down so one can get out of the eating habit that causes the unwanted obesity. It reduces food intake by one-third; food budget by one-third and bring down the consumption of junk food.

Hoodia is an effective mood enhancer. It is devoid of any stimulating agents and even then, it has a positive effect on the mood of an individual.

It is non-allergic and safe to such an extent that it is termed as a foodstuff rather than a medicine.

Many medicines raise the body temperature and increase the rate of perspiration. This can often result in further complexities. Hoodia is completely safe from such effects.

The production of Hoodia is done under Quality Control measures and care is taken to assure good quality.

Thus, Hoodia is the most authentic remedy for obesity; efforts are on to enhance its utility further.
